Online Casino Scams
Casino Bonus Scam – This is the biggest scam that burns roulette players everyday and has been for many years now. It shows no signs of slowing down. All casinos offer welcome bonuses to new players and they offer them to entice slots players. That’s the first thing to understand – bonuses are aimed at slots players, not roulette players.
Not only do bonuses make cashing out your winnings very difficult, some rip off casinos will actually CONFISCATE any money you try to withdraw before you’ve satisfied the bonus “terms and conditions”, regardless of how much additional money you deposit. Pending Period On Withdrawals – In short, some casinos apply what they call a “Pending Period” to withdrawals. The pending period often means that withdrawals take around a week to finally be paid which is far too long and completely unacceptable.
Casinos do this because they hope players get bored sitting around and waiting for the pending period to clear, put the withdrawal money back into their account and then lose it. Casinos take money off you straight away when you deposit money so in our opinion, they should pay it back within 24 hours. Anything more is unacceptable. Still, some wretched casinos have been known to cheat, especially those unlicensed ones aimed at USA players which you should avoid under all circumstances. Flat Out Refusal To Pay – If you do a search online for information about casinos that refuse to pay winning players, you will find literally countless complaints from players who’ve risked their money, been lucky enough to win, only for the casino to refuse to pay them.
Usually, these casinos start out by taking days to reply to emails, make the player jump through hoops to get the money and in the end, disappear into the night, leaving the player frustrated and empty handed.

As far as we’re concerned, online casinos trying to weasel their way out of paying winners is not acceptable. Unless there’s a very good reason to refuse pay out such as a stolen credit card being involved, refusal to pay is flat out fraud. The problem with a lot of casinos is that they’re run on a shoe-string budget, meaning that they simply don’t have the cash flow to pay winners.

Online Roulette Scams
Now that we’ve got the common online casinos scams out of the way, let’s move onto the roulette scams. First thing’s first, there are plenty of websites selling and giving away systems that they claim can win at roulette long term. As mentioned higher up, you can read about these websites and systems in our roulette system reviews. Now let’s look at a few specific scams in more detail.
Martingale Roulette System Scam – This is a scam that’s been running for years. Writing about the Martingale alone is not a scam – we have a very detailed pages on it with charts and odds which very clearly highlight the odds of experiencing losing runs, the amounts you stand to lose, the long term risk and why it’s not a long term winner (no strategy is a long term winner).
However, some websites say that the Martingale “exploits a flaw” at online casinos and that it can be used to win easy money. Some go a step further and claim that they’re a casino software programmer and that a certain part of the table (usually a colour or a Dozen) is programmed not to go over a certain amount of spins without hitting and that the Martingale can be used to exploit this flaw.
Of course, this is a load of rubbish and the whole thing is a scam to trick people into signing up at the “flawed” casinos under the illusion that they’re equipped with a system that’s going to win.
Fake Roulette System Testimonials – When people first stumble across a roulette system, they may do some research on it and find a bunch of videos with people raving about how great the system is. Usually these videos are both poorly edited and poor in quality from people that were either paid a small amount to do the video or the video is made by a third party affiliate/advertiser.
Trigger Numbers – Some roulette systems work perfectly in the free, play for fun mode at online casinos. They can get the right number all day long and people win so much fake money that they decide to fork over real money so that they can get the real money version of the system.
Trouble is, it doesn’t work at all in real mode. There are two ways people get sucked into this scam – either by downloading a software program that wins all the time in fun mode, or communicating with the shameless scammer directly via a chat window such as Skype and he/she will tell you how to win every time in fun mode.
